Online Physical Presence Calculator does not match form

I filled out the physical presence calculator and the dates I got are from 2016-02-10 to 2021-02-09. When I enter in the form the "To" to 2021-02-09 it tells me the eligibility period from 2016-02-09 instead of the 10th.

Furthermore, when I enter the signature date it says it needs to be one day later than eligibility, so it makes me put in the 10th, ie, 2021-02-10. Is this expected? This is what acrobat says:

SIGNATURE OF APPLICANT
The format you entered in the following field was incorrect:
18 . Date (YYYY-MM-DD)
The date signed must be one day after the eligibility to date.

Yea it's a pain in the ass but I figure it happens to everyone and if it's one day different they're not going to give a crap.

Yes, the start day on eligibility period is different by a day between those two for everyone.

Since your eligibility period is from 2016-02-10 to 2021-02-09 (on physical presence calculator), you must have entered 2021-02-10 as the "application date" on physical presence calculator. You're supposed to use the same date on physical presence calculator and application form, application date and signature date respectively, which is what the pdf is getting you to do. Basically trying you to rectify your mistake.

I am having the same issue, Physical presence calculator having 2016-04-01 to 2021-03-31 as the eligibility date, but when I enter in the "To" section, date as 2021-03-31. It automatically take the from date as 2016-03-31, How can I correct this??

My work permit got refused on 1 June, 2018 and I got my PR on 15 June, 2018, so when I fill the “Temporary permit” section on Physical Presence CalculationI should add as From [ 01-04-2016] to [1 June, 2018] ??? Or Should I put [14 June,2018]?

1. You had no status from the date your work permit expired until you received your PR.

Yeah, I had no status and I didn’t apply for any because I have got the passport request for my PR file before my work permit extension has got refused. So, what should I put for this period or should I just enter 1-4-2016 to 1 June, 2018 on my “temporary worker” and leave the gap after that time to until I became PR?

I am applying for citizenship on June 16, 2021 i.e. my eligibility period for the physical presence calculator starts on June 16, 2016. What should I write in date you left Canada. Should it be June 16, 2016 or August 6, 2015?
I am confused because I had left Canada before the start of my eligibility period? Thanks

Enter the date you will sign the application will be June 16 2021 & then Enter the date you became a permanent resident of Canada will be July 09 2015

Then for this eligibility if you did leave Canada between 2016-06-16 and 2021-06-15? Answer 'Yes' if you left Canada for any reason including vacation, work, business, family matters, school, illness, etc.

So your eligibility start date will be June 16, 2016 & end date will be June 15 2021 as you will be signing the application on June 16 2021.

I had the same issue, the from date on the application vs physical presence calculator did not match. I just ensure the To date were matching on both these documents and submitted the form in Aug 2021

Hi: I am in a similar situation.

Calculation form asks for when you are signing the application form (I put today's date= 5 June, 2024) then It shows my eligibility period as 5 June 2019 to 5 June 2024. I am using the same dates on the application form but the form won't let me sign on the same say that is June 5, 2024 and asks to sign one day after my eligibility. But if I sign it the next day on June 6, 2024, how can I achieve "ensure that application date used in this calculation and on application form are the same".

On the other hand, It will also contradict with my answer on calculation form for when you are signing the application form (June 5 vs June 6).

Can anyone help?
