Hi,
We received our COPR a few weeks ago and are planning to enter by road from the US in the next couple of months. We were initially thinking of going to Ontario, but are now also considering Quebec. We applied through EE, but my understanding (re-stated multiple times in various threads here) is that once we enter and become PR holders, we can settle wherever we like, including Quebec.
We are wondering about port of entry, though: if we enter in Ontario but have quarantine plans in Quebec, and possibly give a Quebec address for the PR card, will that raise eyebrows or could this lead to chances of getting entry denied altogether? Would it be safer to quarantine in ON, and only then move to QC?
Thanks!
