Dear all experience members

please suggest me on my profile, depending on that i will proceed

Brief of my Profile:
Age: 31 last month
IELTS: Listening 8, Reading 8.5, Writing 6 and speaking 7
Education: B.Tech ECE 2011 completed
Work Experience: since 2012 Feb till date as application support in Infosys
Kids: twins 3 years old boys
Due to my experience in IT I have applied for Computer programming course in Niagara College Welland for 2021 Fall intake (not really interested in Masters)
paid first year complete Fee and applied for GIC

so my question is: can I take my husband as dependent visa ? well initially he will help me settle down at college and he will return to home country but later he will back to canada to apply for open work permit. My kids will be taken care by my parents.

Please suggestion me is it advisable to apply both at the same time ?

There is no such things as a dependant visa. He applies for a visitor visa. You can apply for it at the same time.

So apply for a visitor visa. How long is your program? If only a year, you may have a better chance of SOWP once you have a skilled job and 3 payslips.

It is up to you. You say he needs a visitor visa to get you settled and doesn’t need a SOWP because of work commitments. What about your children?

Having so much experience in IT and still applying for a programming course doesn’t make sense. You need to be able to convince VO that this course will help you in career progression. I would suggest you to go for any management course related to IT field like Technology or Project management.
