applying for citizenship online?

I came across some posts where online applicants are mentioned .I wonder where you can submit an online application of citizenship . Does this option ever exist? Don't people submit application by paper?

Of course it exists. You can only apply online if you are applying for yourself, and there are restrictions to it as well. More information here : https://citapply-citdemande.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/landing
