Does anybody know about correction office. I contacted ircc few days before and agent told me that the application is forwarded to correction office.

A huge yes.. July ain't far away.. i assume u r working so u would have to serve notice.. i don't know what you should do to get the exemption but yes go ahead!

Yeah, you should move if you can because most of us are waiting for long time from IRCC to reply anything or do any work. But resign job if you know for sure when you travel. Many of us resigned and thought can go but cannot and now job less.

I think no. Why, because it looks like they use fake excuse and resource to work on survey as oppose to process our visas...

The uncertainty was the problem why I didn't move in the first place. I got my COPR in Oct 2020 and didn't realize until end January that I could travel under the extended family exemption. By the time I was getting my papers ready to apply for the exemption, the hotel quarantine requirement kicked in and I wasn't sure whether the $2000 was per person or for the whole family (we are a family of 5). So I waited a little bit more and then it was too late to resign and wrap everything up and move before March 31 when my COPR expired (practically March 15 since there was always the risk of getting a positive Covid test before flying).

The only reason I am confused is that they have explicitly asked us not to send RTT webforms but I guess no harm in trying.

I just got my authorization letter today finally!!! after waiting over a year, they issue the letter on April fool day

They have extended my COPR validity till 2022 January but my authorization letter is valid till 31st my 2021.

nevertheless, I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone, who has helped me so much during this entire tiring process. I guess I would still keep on needing some more help till I land there I guess, haha.

but I am still extremely thankful and to anyone waiting for their authorization letter please have my best wishes for it.

Were you notified to redo the medicals or you just went ahead to do it without being instructed to do so?

@whyCorona hey i have a question. So if remedicals are done on an older date than the new GCKey updated medicals date. So does it mean my extension will count from the older date or the date when they updated my medicals in GCKey profile?

Why are they sending AL to those who received COPR on or before march 18th 2020? Shouldn't a reissue of COPR with original date suffice? Pre march 18th are exempted from their restrictions, it would be easier to extend/reissue their COPR/visa foil.

No it has nothing to do with any sign. It's routine for them to send the email the only issue is some of you are getting it now.

I received that same email in January 2020. I believe COVID delayed a lot of stuff cos some of you should have received it last year or atleast 2 months after you received your COPR

...There is still a lot of backlog regardless. Some people have been waiting for AL since May of last year(read that somewhere).They are doing too much already: AL, reissue of COPR and visa foil(for those whose passport require it)

Why don't they just send out AL to applicable people so people can travel regardless of expired COPR or visa foil. Instead they are reissuing everything(COPR/AL/Visa) in some cases
For my first COPR, I mailed my documents on a Wednesday and by thursday following week, my COPR was delivered to my address
