I just noticed an application updated in my GC key but when I’m in no changes are there. Could be a ghost update
What exactly will AOR1 look like? I've gotten a biometrics request (PA), my husband got an email saying they have received his sponsorship application, and on ECAS it says "We received your application for permanent residence on January 7, 2021." On GCKey it says application is submitted and various things say "in process", and I have a UCI and application number. Is one of those AOR1 or should I be looking for another notification that actually says the words "acknowledgment of receipt"?
AOR is simply an acknowledgment from CIC and they provide UCI (if not exits) and application number and will be sent to Sponsor.

I submitted application to sponsor my husband... CIC received on Jan 4th 2021 I recieved AOR on Feburary 25th saying me application started to process on Feb 24th 2021

Exactly same situation. AOR Feb 25 and processing started Feb 24.. Did you get biometrics letter?
I also haven't received anything after AOR. I stopped checking because there's no movement happening since over a month

I am preparing an outland sponsorship application for my Wife. But the problem is, I am in India now and my wife too in India.
Based on what I read from CIC website, The sponsor who is a PR holder has to be in Canada to mail the application.
Can I or anyone do try mailing the application package to someone in Canada so that, that person would mail it to CIC address?

The Sponsor who is a PR needs to be inside Canada when applying, you need to have a Canadain Residential address everywhere in the forms
