Maybe when the Covid cases in your home country is lesser and controlled. 23VACs currently operational are from countries with lesser cases.

@Andy28231 The twitter link apparently has many students requesting to Open VFS in India. I believe the biometric process and centers are same for students and PR applicants.
Do you know of any updates regarding the biometrics? Is VFS the only option for biometrics? I am a PR applicant waiting to give biometrics.

I am following the #candainindia twitter handle, and have seen some positive news about VFS accepting the submission of passport from people who have received the PPR, through a particular courier partner. apart from this I have not seen any update on the biometrics submission yet. I will suggest you to follow the twitter handle more closely there may be some positive updates given the trend for last few days.. Just keeping my fingers crossed and trying to stay positive as much as possible....

Also as far as I know VFS is the only option to give bio metrics...I have also heard that few people have gone ahead and submitted the biometrics through VFS centers in other countries other than india where they can legally enter...for ex..I read someone from india going to dubai to give biometrics...its an expensive option however it is one of the alternate option available which IRCC allows

Feeling Happy, I received my stamped passport and COPR letter today afternoon after 407 days from the AOR1..... Canada here I come !!!
