Can my PGWP be denied if i didnt repay the CERB and I owe CRA money?

Ok I just took the money once and I did not understand the requirements fully. But I have to apply for my PGWP within 2 months so will my chances be low if they know?

It is really funny how people think CRA and CIC are the same organization. No they’re different. CIC is in charge of immigration while CRA takes care of our taxes. CIC has nothing to do with CRA. And for your information CIC don’t have access to your SIN so they won’t know whether you took CERB or otherwise. So don’t worry. Cheers.

Nope, PGWP applicaton has nothing to do with CRA. And even if they reject your application for that reason, you can re-apply and get PGWP.

If anything Canada wants you to stay in Canada so you can repay the CERB amount.
