Even mine took more than a year after adding my spouse.

I did last year. Biometrics wasn't done that time. The status was reopened with a family member added . Nothing much.

I dont think thats possible. It might further delay the process as there would be 2 different applications

No. They asked for additional documents on 7th Dec 2020. After that no update. Last update was on 24th feb saying that they received my documents.

we paid biometric fees in April 2020 its been a year and no update.
is this normal ????

we are getting same response in a mail stated it is in process we will ask if any document required.

I am in india and my spouse added me after his PPR.

this situation is so frustrating. I would appreciate if anyone could suggest what to do now

Didn't u receive the biometrics instruction letter yet for your spouse?

My spouse is in canada he added me. he is done with biometric but there is no update on my process since april 2020
