if everything is passed what could possible be taking them so long?? and how come they are approving applications done as last as december when so many other persons with earlier AOR waiting?

That's the million dollar question! No one knows what's going on with our friends at IRCC.

AOR - June 13th

I keep calling IRCC and the agent says everything is passed and awaiting final decision.
I see people with December AOR getting their COPR!
Anyone with this time line receiving any updates?
All passed since Oct. and still nothing. Called many times, sent webforms, no help at all.

For most inland applicants, IRCC issues a COPR and effective that date you become a PR. If you are out of Canada, you will have to apply for PRTD to reenter Canada, see https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/new-immigrants/pr-travel-document.html

If IRCC calls to confirm if your are in Canada and if you inform that your are not, then they will ask you to submit your passport to CPC-Ottawa for US residents, or alternatively you can ask for an extension until you return to Canada.

However, if you are returning to Canada by a non-commercial vehicle from the US, i.e. by your own car, you can use the COPR only to enter.
@legalfalcon with the same context, can CEC Inland applicant travel outside canada with just COPR document and re-enter, reason being it looks like PR card takes longer time than usual, what would be the process to follow while we are in canada for the seamless re-entry. any input is appreciated. thank you.

Only if you travel via land border in your own vehicle. If you travel via any commercial vehicle, you will need a PR card or apply for a PRTD.

I just wanted to share the timeline of our Permanent Residency application and the stress I've been through during the process. Thank God we finally got our COPR yesterday so for those who are still waiting, extend your patience and hope for the best. I almost got into depression because of this due to the circumstance of our application and it's the most stressful event in my life I would say.
