I am planning to add surname on my Indian passport.
Which newspaper ad is valid in Brampton for this?

please list the required documents and important steps.

  1. Need the original cutting of the advertisement published in two English newspapers one in local newspaper, one in India both showing the date and the name of the newspaper advertised in. The advertisement should be 1 month old at the time of submission of the application.

You can Try The Brampton Times or The Bramptonian or Brampton Guardian

Thank you so much. So it has to be one month old. I cannot submit my application immediately after the ad?

That's what the Embassy site says. The Add must be 1 month old. Need to give Add in India too. you need both Add Original cutting with date and News paper Name. Do more research before you submit the Application.
