Question about overseas work experience

Hi fellow applicants, i wonder if anyone has faced a similar situation. I have one year work experience back in my home country as a translator, which i used to enter EE pool in additional to my one year work experience in Canada. And i run into a problem when asking my former manager to write me a reference letter. She can fully cooperate except in order to get the company's seal, she'd have to ask for the chairman's approval, and she doesn't want to go through that trouble(which is totally understandable).

So my question is: would my overseas job experience be accepted without company's seal? Is there any
precedent? Also i don't think i can get any additional documents like paystub and tax receipts. Please share your experience or opinion! Thank a lot for your help!

You don't need the company's seal. You need your former manager to write the letter on the company letterhead, sign it, and provide contact information (email/phone).

If the letterhead is unavailable, she can write it on plain paper as well. The important thing is that she provides her information so that IRCC can contact her in case they have questions about your experience.

However, if your letter looks less "official", it is a good idea to have other documentation to back it up - pay slips, tax records, bank statements etc.

Thank you! I have a feeling that this is gonna go well:)

Hi guys,

I have a quick question regarding overseas experience points I claimed for three years and about to submit EE from 2012 to 2015:

1. My old boss has since moved on from this company, but is happy to sign an official letter and alibi everything if they call him (will this be okay we have letterheads that we can use as well)

2 I don't have paystubs for the experience only a reference letter that's it.

I have another colleague that still works there as an Operations person and said she is happy to write another letter saying she is a witness for everything - will this help ?

The only other thing I can think of I can log into NZ Taxation department website and provide the taxable income I paid taxes on from that company.

Its hard to find things after 7 + years.

Please guide what would help or am I freaking out for nothing.

it is ok only with the letter. Make sure it follows IRCC guidelines https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

taxes and other documents are optional, not mandatory.
