We have a similar timeline. The only difference is the upfront medical. I did it one month ealier than your and I got DM one month ealier as well.
From our cases, upfront did speed up the process although not by much.

Thank you. I believe so. Upfront does help in some cases. Now they just issue MR real early for new applicants as well.
