Date format

In my letter of explanation for a visitor extension, I used the date format (M/D/Y) in reference to a date on the application (D/M/Y). Is this something that can cause an issue? I noticed it after I sent in the application :/

I know it's a stupid question but please help. Thank you

Well, that will always be a mystery; at times, I get confused with what format Canada uses. VO will take it as it is. Unless your format day is higher than 12, VO will know you meant month; otherwise, resend your explanation via the webform, letting them know of the wrong date format.
