Security - Not started

This is what I received for my web form request for the status of my application on February 19, 2021

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The eligibility is in process.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid

IRCC Agent said on the call that Eligibility is Recommended Pass

Any thoughts?

Until eligibility is conclusively passed, not just recommended, the status will be in progress

Hey Guys, So I had also completed 6 months today. Here is my status:-

- Aor- Sept 16,2020
- Cec Inland, no dependent
- Visa office- Ottawa
- Medical passed on Nov 3
- Biometrics done on Nov 26
- Criminality was passed two days after biometrics on Nov 28
- Info sharing is complete as well
- Eligibility was recommended pass on Feb 16
- Last call to Ircc on Feb 26.
- so far Security is the only stage that’s left. I don’t know if this has been initiated or not yet.

I had tried calling today but system is not connecting to an agent.
