Congratulations, this gives me and people in the same situation a glimpse of hope. Just a quick question, when you applied for your PR( when your wife went back to India, did you change her address or you left it as Canada?

Hello guys, I am about to send the email for IRCC to prioritize my spouse and children's TRV and hopefully get a Travel Authorization, The main applicant was my wife for a SOWP and the children on for Visitor Visas.

Qtn 1. Should I or my spouse send the email to IRCC to expedite the application?
Qtn 2. Since the children were on my wife's application as dependents to reunite with me, Should just 1 email be sent by my wife with details of the children as well requesting for the Travel Authorization or we must send separate emails to request TA for wife and each child?

I will be glad if someone can advise, please. Thanks.

So I think IRCC think you are both in Canada then coz if her address was still Canada in the application she wasn’t considered Outland dependent. Either way congrats
Exactly...So not so much hope for us with Outland dependants since the start of the process :(.
Let's keep hoping they change the policy and start giving us CoPR (at least for the principal applicant inland)...

I completely agree, and I got a response from the office Honourable Mendicino, but so disappointing as it’s just the same generic response. It’s annoying

Hi Guys,
Aor 27 July 2020
I am thinking of applying for PGWP extension as I don't see my file getting approved anytime even after all stages are passed 2 weeks ago. My PGWP expires on July 14. My question is that when I apply for extension, will I able to add my wife.
Thank you,

Yes you can add her to your application. My PGWP is also expiring on July 17th and all my stages are passed since December 16, 2020 and my AOR was June 13, 2020. I am a bit torn on whether to apply for the renewal now or wait a bit to see if we’re going to get some positive new since people are getting vaccinated now. And summer is coming up, at least wait until April to see if they will lift the travel restrictions. Am hopeful.

Same here I am debating between whether to apply or wait a little longer and see the situation. Honestly makes no sense to hold the file from approval after everything has passed .

In my case WP validity was Expiring on 9th March 2021, I was waiting for PR (AOR July 28 2020) but no Response so i applied for BOWP on Feb 22 2021, My BOWP got approved Yesterday 9 March 2021 and is valid till 8th March 2022. Yet to receive hard copy.
Hello @M Sudhanan

Could you please let me know if you applied for WP extension under the new public policy i.e., 18 month extension, or like normal bridging of open permit

Thanks

I completely agree and it also doesn’t make sense asking people to apply for temporary visas while they can literally approve and finalize our PR application. This whole EE process is messed up. At this point Covid is just an excuse
