OP's husband withdrew sponsorship (not the OP). AOS was through the husband. Think like Canadian spousal sponsorship.
Did you receive a PM because I don't see anything about her history in the US, how long she's been there, that she was married, that her AOS was withdrawn by her husband (assume soon to be ex-husband). Taking the child to Canada would require the husband's permission. Still unclear how long OP has been in the US, whether she has proof of persecution that would be current, etc. Still would really suggest consulting with a Canadian immigration attorney.

Also, if you are familiar with US immigration processes, AOS is not a refugee application - it's sponsorship.
