I guess vaccine visa is going to be issued soon from all countries. It’s not a bad idea to travel to Canada this summer and enjoy the scenery, food and movies. I can say, entertainment is good and maybe people can visit concerts, theatres, movies etc., and visit the movie studios where the movie Tall man (very good film) movie was made. Does anyone know if vaccine visa is going to be issued soon in the near future.

No, Canada is not considering a vaccine visa and has said it will not open borders until COVID numbers are down in Canada and the population is vaccinated. Don’t expect the border to be open by the summer. There will not be a return to normal by the summer with concerts etc. Canada doesn’t have movie studios to visit.
Not so fast, although thats originally the plan, there is growing call for a vaccine passport in canada, in fact there was just a meeting with the premiers and prime minister about it this week.. IF they do a vaccine passport it will however not be for events or travel between provinces but only for entry into canada..
(My guess is they will allow either the 3 day hotel isolation followed by the standard isolation OR produce vaccine passport as well as 3 days isolation at the hotel.. with negative results, although once travel completely ramps up they will need to remove the hotel requirement as there just wont be enough rooms..)
Now as for the border reopening, I agree with you summer is likely the earliest, I do believe we will open to USA only to start, or possibly USA/Mexico
so unfortunately USA cases need to be reduced drastically first. After a month or two if things dont get worse in canada then they would likely open to the rest of the world all at once.. (Possibly ban certain countries with massive cases)
On the US Side they are floating with the idea of reopening by July 4th... however, it will ofcourse by up to Trudeau to agree to that timeline, but Trudeau takes pushover all the time from USA so id think that date is fairly possible...
US already vaccinated 354 million shots over 330 mill population leaving it to guess that probably half the population is inoculated. The next problem is some are anti vaccine. They have their fears, I can understand. One or two causalities will be there, it’s not so bad. The bad debate, Me- they should take vaccines, Them- we will shoot you down if you force us vaccines. No one wants to help the system even during the dooms days. This is the same case everywhere. Maybe I want to immigrate quickly and upset on non cooperation, even if I don’t immigrate, I will take the vaccine. Next, no vaccine manufacturing factories. No politician can help the situation. We need money, machines and people volunteering to get vaccines. People who are like house bound are ok, like grandparents who rarely leave the home, but what is wrong with others? US is supplying marijuana for free to ppl who took the vaccine. This is also a good way to show that vaccines don’t kill.
Im wondering about visitor visa, corporates need them for outsourcing, so I thought first preference will be given to that. If short stay visa has vaccine passports, eventually PR will be declared the same. I’m not sure which province I like, but I like a province where lesser immigrants choose to go so that the job demand will be higher to secure myself a job asap. Txs

Not sure where you are getting your news but there are lots of inaccuracies. 100M doses of vaccine have been administered in the US so around 50M vaccinated. US is definitely not supplying free marijuana to anyone.

I think they are giving away weed. I saw empty caselets of marijuana giveaways with slogans all over. Anyways I just only read the headlines most of the time and you could be correct.

You need to take either IELTS or CELPIP. Otherwise immigrating to Canada will not be possible for you.
In terms of which province is best, this is research you will need to do on your own to determine if and where your occupation is in demand.

This doesn't say that America is giving away free weed. It's saying that one fringe individual is giving out free joints just in D.C.
