Spouse Open Work Permit on the basis of Internship(PGWP)

Hi,

I have recently got a six-month internship in a company. I am on a post-graduate work permit. It is a paid internship for 40 hours a week for six months with the possibility of full-time. My job is as a Finance BI Analyst which is NOC 2172. Can I apply for Spouse Open Work Permit on the basis of this internship?

1. Note is quite possible that a SOWP will NOT be issued as work term will be less than 6 month at the time of application.

I've got an offer for a 4-months internship and am not sure if I should accept it.

So I didn’t file for open spouse work permit but I applied in tr to pr and got pr through it.

For spousal work permit, internship may not workout.
