How much time it takes after Correspondence letter

Hi Guys

I am working in Canada on a closed work permit. I have applied for my wife(Open work permit) and kids(Visit) from Pakistan (Feb 28 2020).Medical is done and updated on application that You passed the medical exam. Now I have received yesterday March 08 2021 Correspondence letter for my wife biometrics(Validity of biometrics etc.) For my kids I have received the passport submission request.

I was wondering how much time it will take further after correspondence letter for passport request for my wife. Should I submit my kids passport for visa stamping or wait for wife passport.

Any Valuable suggestions please.

It could be a passport request, or it could be a rejection. No one knows. (Not discouraging you.) I have seen forums where people waited for several days to receive PPR.

I have received the passport request for my kids but only correspondence letter for my wife medical is passed and updated for all. Now the question is if this is normal that you receive first Correspondence letter then passport request or how it works and any idea on time frames after correspondence letter.

It normally like that where you get the first correspondence letter to acknowledge the Biometric validity, then either a PPR or another correspondence letter (Rejection).

It happens where not everyone receives PPR at the same time. She will eventually receive it, but no one knows when probably in the next 24 to 72 hours.

Thanks for your response I received correspondence letter on 08 March and received passport request on 16th March 2021.
