Visa Refusal - TRV

Hi,

I applied for a TRV to visit my sister in Canada but it was refused. She met an accident recently but now she's discharged from the hospital after a surgery. So she wanted me to be with her for 1 month.

She provided me an invitation letter notarized by a lawyer stating that she is inviting me to visit her for 1 month along with all her other documents. But the visa was refused mentioning the reasons below:
1. Travel History
2. Personal Assets and Financial Status
3. Purpose of travel

For Travel history I provided my passport with travel to Italy, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Russia, Kenya, Norway and Thailand. These travel were from between 2016 to 2019 for tourist purpose which was for about 1-2 weeks.

For personal assets and finance I provided my last six months bank savings account which had a balance of $85,000.00, salary slip with a monthly salary of $5500.00, company letter where I'm currently working as a Senior Sales Manager from 2012 to date with leave approval. My 6 properties under my nameç vehicle under my name, Human Rights Commission membership card and letter, my marriage certificate where I'm leaving back my kids and wife in Sri Lanka.

For purpose of travel I provided my sister's invitation where she had all details of my stay and the reason for visiting her.

I also mentioned my previous Canada visa refusal in the year 2013, three USA visa refusal in the years 2014 and 2015 and 2 Australia visa refusal in 2016. All refusals reason were they doubted I will come back.

Now I want to know where I went wrong. And what options I have

What is your sister’s status in Canada? What did your sister’s invitation say? You have many visa refusals which may well be an issue as they are back to back and with 3 countries.

She is a Canadian Citizen. She mentioned in the invitation that I'm visiting her for a month, about her recent incident supported by medical evidence and she's accommodating me for the whole duration of stay, along with all her documents.

It may be because you have 6 visa refusals for 3 countries. Canada has access to those refusals. Travel history is not to the countries you mentioned but to the countries you have been refused. Have you ever tried to immigrate or study in these countries.

Is she single or has a family. Does the letter say anything about taking care of her or her children if she has them?

Even with an approved visitor visa, you can’t travel to Canada right now. You would need written authorization to travel, 3 day mandatory hotel quarantine and 11 day quarantine.

So you asked for approved written authorization to travel before the visitor visa. When did you apply for the visa and written travel authorization? As I mentioned above officers want travel history to see travel history to the 5 Eyes (UK, Australia, NZ, US and Canada) and you have numerous refusals. If your ”liquid” finances are that high then you should be okay. The issue may be that you stated “care” for your sister and could be viewed as work. What is a Human Rights Commission membership card and why did you include it..

But you say you have already have written authorization to travel. Is that correct? Your Australian refusals were still within the last 5 years and you applied back to back.

Why would you think it will benefit your application??
