hi @caipsnotes @NOC98 Thanks for the reply. Also my spouse obtained her PCC along with me on dec 18, 2019 in india. But she landed in canada for the first time in Jan 30,2020. When we submitted our application in express entry, it was valid.I saw in multiple forums that there should not be gaps. My eligibility is passed, criminality in progress , security not started. So, do i need to get new pcc for my spouse and submit it as she stayed in india for 42 days after getting pcc. Please help. @legalfalconNot at all. I’m also an April 2020 AOR myself. I did the same as you, I went to country of citizenship and obtained my PCC. I stayed for a few days afterwards before returning to Canada. I got my COPR last month.
You’re lucky that your application wasn’t rejected at R10 given that you’re an April AOR. Your wife’s PCC should’ve been issued AFTER 30 January 2020.hi @caipsnotes @NOC98 Thanks for the reply. so should i get a new pcc for my spouse now and send a webform? You’re lucky that your application wasn’t rejected at R10 given that you’re an April AOR. Your wife’s PCC should’ve been issued AFTER 30 January 2020.
I think that’s the better approach. Given that your criminality is still in progress, meaning, the officer hasn’t looked at your PCCs and prints.so should i get a new pcc for my spouse now and send a webform?
Stuck in criminality forever. No updates for a while.any updates fora or April applicant ? its seems like dead silence
did you order gcms notes ? I have ordered on feb 16 and waiting for it.. basically to know what was that feb 1 update..Stuck in criminality forever. No updates for a while.
No, I didn’t. Just calling IRCC call centre every month to see if criminality is passed. The answer is always the same.did you order gcms notes ? I have ordered on feb 16 and waiting for it.. basically to know what was that feb 1 update..
Yes she was staying there for 27 years and then came to canada first time on Jan 2020I think that’s the better approach. Given that your criminality is still in progress, meaning, the officer hasn’t looked at your PCCs and prints.
EDIT: just to confirm, when your spouse got her PCC on Dec 2019, was she staying in India for 6 months or more in a row?
Better submit a new PCC.Yes she was staying there for 27 years and then came to canada first time on Jan 2020
It would not expedite the process per se, however, you can apply for an authorisation to travel and a visitor's visa, which may be issued based on the discretion of IRCC.Hi @legalfalcon, I am an FSW outland applicant from India, Aor 29 April, My real brother is in Canada on student visa since 2 years, Can informing this to IRCC help speed up the process of getting PPR as they are focusing on reuniting families.
