Can anyone please tell me how long it takes to security pass? I called cic they told me everything is done but security not started. What does that mean?

I have been in that state since July 2020 and counting. Few people were there in this state for 3 days. I know a 2017 candidate whose Security is still in progress. I hope you got the answer... No one knows. Every case is different. Ideally 15 days once starts.

Did you call IRCC? Are you in security check or security has not started yet?

I called, GCMSed, tried sending this and that to them to get them to pay attention. They did pay attention and sent me formal acknowledgement letters (in addition to their Webform reply). All this did not help move the file 1 inch. I am still in security not stated, Info Sharing in progress (everything is available, no one reviewing). All others categorically passed.

I received MR today. My timeline is below

MPNP inland- 1 dependent

AR- 17 August 2020
AOR- 22 January 2021
MR- 04 March 2021

But I have a problem. My wife's name mentioned incorrectly in the application. That is not our fault as we filled all the forms correctly. There is an alteration page in the wife's passport. I think they haven't check that when creating the application profile. I called and informed IRCC today.

Is there anyone who changed your or your dependent's name during the process? Does anyone have an idea how long it will take?

I recently corrected my dependent’s name as I had made a mistake while applying her visa. Right after realizing my mistake I sent a weboform explaining the matter, next morning they corrected her name. So you might wanna raise a webform

No nothing once i saw file updated but it was glitch I think i happened with everybody about 15 days ago

No, I didn't. I received a MR and submitted my medicals in Feb 26. After that no update.
