Hello all,

I once got IEC working holiday work visa in 2016, was working in Toronto and decided to get PR, but lack of attention to details from my employer and incompetent visa consultants i was working 2 months illegally, because of no extendable status of IEC work visa.

Now i wamt to apply again, have a job offer from my ex coworker, but i am super afraid that i wont be granted visa because of my 'illegal work'. I got paid in my bank account for those months. It just was bad.

If i say on my resume that i didnt work I legally and just put proper dates as per old work permit in hopes that they wont check my paychecks?

Also i dont have payslips saved as i never do for that, i did get tax returns and i do have debt for CIBC bank in canada. Will it close the doors for me?

A job offer doesn’t allow you to apply for a visa. Does your employer have an approved LMIA? So you applied for PR and were refused? If so you need to be upfront about working illegally.

I have a job offer in NOC class B 2255 where it says exempt from LMIA. Therefore i understand that i dont need LMIA for that. My old company did LMIA and it was active only for 6 months, but when companys hired consultants saw that i was working illegally, i explained, that my old consultant gave green lights to work after my IEC work visa expired and 3 months later. Apparently it was his mistake that i followed up.

Do i still need LMIA if its exempt from it NOC B 2255 or am i missing something?

I dont want to misrepresent actual facts, but i dont even have old consultants license number nor do i have email conversations with him to prove his mistakes.

Thanks

Edit: to clear things up, i did work in canada previously for 11 months 'under IEC working holiday visa' and my job was in NOC B 2255 category, i was paying huge money to consultants to get me LMIA and PR, but they made mustake as they thought 'somehow' that my work visa wasnt under IEC category and only later i found out that i was working illegaly.

4 years later and I am here after countless phonecalls from my previous company and my coworkers to go back ' literally my heart is still there and i am super anxious even writing this'.

NOC B 2255 is exempt from LMIA as far as i can understand 'this time i want to take matters in my own hands as i dont want mistakes to happen again'. Is there a prejudice with something similar where CIC officer would allow me get work visa under specific employer given my past? I didnt stay in country a day longer when i figured out i was scammed/or misrepresented by consultants.

Ahh missed that as I didn’t read the title. Only that he had an IEC. Are IECs even being processed right now?
I don't know. I haven't been keeping up with that news.

It opened for some countries on march 1st.

Anyways, my biggest concern is that in my previous stay in Canada i was misguided by consultants and worked illegally (apparently) for whole two months, i am kinda positive they would pass me as ive heard crazy stories before. Did anyone encountered issue like that?
