I applied in June, ordered GCMS notes, Eligibility is being reviewed, looks like the Analyst didn't accept any of my Foreign work experience? and has dropped me 50 CRs points ( meaning I am now just below the cut off for my round) I had claimed 3 years and 0 has been accounted for by the analyst, since August nothing has moved with my Application. Has anyone had a similar issue? If the officer even just accepts the one year I had in one of the roles I would meet the EE, more infuriating when there was such a huge draw for CEC at 75 points when I have 497.

Not all Pages had the letter head on, or duties were listed on another page, It just has the Analyst requesting a review. I worked at A cancer research center and the Letter I was able to get from them states that the reference they give is set out and will only contain basic information.

then is not refused yet. The officer will review, and write a note why he didn't accept. Or maybe he will accept it.

If you application is declined, you will get as well the reason why.

In the best case scenario, they might request additional documents.

But yeah, they are very picky on letterheads, and small issues (dates, signatures, duties, etc). The letter has to contain letter head in all pages, because they dont know if you wrote that by yourself, or the company.

Can you copy paste EXACTLY and word by word the note from the analyst?

at Dorothy House Hospice *REVIEW REQUIRED* -DUTIES ARE NOT LISTED IN LOE- Letter confirms full/time employment

Manager at Cancer Research *REVIEW REQUIRED*-UNABLE TO VERIFY WORK DURATION AND DUTIES

CEC WORK: 1 year CRS foreign work 0 year (s) 0 month(s) or 3 year(s) -REVIEW REQUIRED CRS Canadian work: 1 year(s)

I also have other work experience that I gave paystubs, all copies of my contracts ( the same as the two which have eligibility flagged) and this appears unaccounted for in my GCMS notes. It is very hard to get the letters from the UK in the format that they require.

yeah the letter is mandatory, and first thing they look at. It has to be perfect. If there is an element missing, for example letter head in the second page, you need to clarify in LOE.

Then paystubs are complementary. But not mandatory.

You can try to get a new letter and submit it?

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and

if you cannot get a new letter, perhaps you can raise a webform explaining in detail everything you have submitted, and why you were not able to obtain a better letter? try to do everything that is in your hands at this moment

All of those were included, even in my initial LOE I addressed the formatting, even including email correspondence from me to past employers requesting the information in the format I required. Its unfortunate and stressful, I would just hope someone at least looks at my case soon. I have turned down invites for BC PNP my points are at 111, I'm just losing hope at present.
