If both Seems same toyou ,Then you haven’t done enough research on the topic...

“Paper-based applications take much longer to process than electronic applications submitted through Express Entry. While the average processing time for a permanent resident application submitted through Express Entry is 6 months, a paper-based application is processed in an average of 18 months.”

Go through this link - https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.canadim.com/immigrate/provincial-nominee-program/amp/
yes i agree, then why mostly people are using paper based......i thought there are some benefits

Because most of them are not qualified for EE. and I hope you already how to qualify for EE PNP

Express Entry process
In the online Express Entry process, there are 2 ways to apply:

  • You contact the province or territory and apply for a nomination under an Express Entry stream.
  • If the province or territory agrees to nominate you, you create an Express Entry profile (or update your profile if you already have one) and show you have been nominated.
    OR
  • You create an Express Entry profile and show the provinces and territories you’re interested in.
  • If a province or territory sends you a “notification of interest” to your account, you contact them directly.
  • You apply to their Express Entry stream:
    • If you’re nominated, the province will offer it to you through your account, and you accept it electronically.
Do i need to get particular score also in EE?
My current score is 380 approx

Hi,

I applied for Paper based PR in June 2020. I got married in December and added my spouse to existing PR application. IRCC received the documents for my spouse on Feb 10, 2021. Now I have received my medical request but my spouse did not. Probably because she was just recently added.
So my question to the forum is will my spouse receive medical request soon as mine will expire within a year?. Also if anyone is going through the same scenario please reply with your history and how the process is going for you.
FYI: I am inland but my spouse is outland

My friend got DM today.

OINP - foreign worker stream
AR - Mar 9, 2020
AOR - Sep 10, 2020
PAL - Sep 23, 2020
BIL - Dec 2, 2020
MR - Jan 19, 2021
MP - Feb 4, 2021
DM - Mar 3, 2021
This is what i was talking about. AR to DM in 12 months.

So why there are people with 22 months of timeline? This is the same process or i'm missing something? Because there's a huge difference between 12 and 22 months.

pls help

i am starting my process for PNP nomination program, is there any difference between paper based and online EE filled nomination for PNP............mostly here people using paper based ..............m not able to understand the reason as for me both seems same?
Applicants for NOC 0, A, B categories don't need an english test(at least in Ontario). So people with a weak english proficiency choose a paper-based process...as they would not qualify for EE with a low english test score. It's the main difference.

Last update: March 2, 2021 Updated weekly
This processing time tells you how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past 12 months. Your application may be delayed or returned if it’s not complete.
Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision.
This processing time only applies to the federal part of the processing (at the visa office) once we have received the complete applications. It does not include the time it takes for the province or territory to process the nomination certificate.
If it’s been longer than the time shown above since you applied, check your application status. If you don’t see an update, contact us using the Web form.

But 1 or 2 years are very different.
There has to be something different in a specific case that makes that difference, because i don't think it's possibile losing 1 year on 1 year process for "random reasons".

Maybe depends on the country of birth?

Its all depends on the applications which varies case to case. Normal time is 12 months to 21 months
