AECON is a real company. Are you asking if somebody is posing as them to offer fake jobs?

Now you are to await your offer letter from the company but first you need you that after the offer letter has been given to you then you would be required to apply for your work permit immediately and in order to get your work permit you have to pay for the application which is very compulsory and necessary and in total all is 600CAD (471$) which covers all the total cost for this process so that your visa processing can start as soon as possible.
AECON is a large reputable engineering company in Canada and to employ you then THEY would need to apply for a LMIA (which takes quite a bit of time to prove they have advertised the job for a number of weeks and cannot find a suitable candidate in Canada). After then, a work permit has to be applied for by you. In my case, my future employer has appointed an immigration lawyer to deal with the application and is paying the bill but as it is your application, it is possible that you may be asked to pay. However if AECON has not applied and payed for an LMIA then I think it is probably fake.
