Would this count as proof of work?

Hi,

As far as I know, you have to proove to IRCC that you have an experience in a position that corresponds to once of the NOCs. What NOC are you applying under? You have to show to IRCC that you did most of the duties that you see in your NOC decripsion. For example, I am applying under a NOC 1225, a buyer. So I have to show to the IRCC my contract or the official letter from my company that I have done most of the duties required in the NOC (negotiating contracts, placing orders, suprvising logistics and stuff like that). If I only show a document stayting that I am "a buyer", I will not count. So frankly speaking, you have to recieve a document that describes in details you duties and you have to compare them with your NOC. Hope it makes sense

This post is getting views but no answers, is this a difficult question that I am asking?
This is an unusual format for work experience proof. That's why people probably don't know what to say.

IRCC expects to see job duties. That's one of the requirements for proof of employment. What you have doesn't meet that requirement. So you'd be rolling the dice on whether they accept or not.

If you go strictly by IRCC's requirements, this won't do it.

My NOC is

4313 - non-commissioned ranks of the Canadian armed forces

I was in the British army as an infantry soldier my rank is shown in the letter where it says Rfn (Rifleman) I was thinking that because the job role of an infantry soldier is so well documented online I could maybe use the British Army website to show salary and job description.

I understand that you cannot give me a definitive answer due to the fact that this choice is down to the IRCC. However, have you ever heard of anybody who has been successful or unsuccessful in any simular situation?

Thanks

I think the esiest way to
1) ask your employer to write a representative letter, mentioning that you served in military form this date to that date and your principal duities were this, this and that.
2) checkthe contract. I am sure you must have some kind of contract. This contract should indicate our main duties or have an addendum where your duties are shown

Hey I share the same NOC and the threshold for a reference letter is so high in the provided sample it excludes:
1. Hours worked per week (some forums say that this can be substituted with 'worked active duty fulltime' although i do not know if that is true)
2. There is no indication of annual salary and benefits (while they may be widely available on the internet its not the IRCC to search and find them thats your responsibility to provide them)
Normally what I do when researching for documents to provide them with, what i do is go and pull the requirements page and put it side by side with my documents and go word by word in the IRCc's statement while comparing my documents tbst way you wont miss anything.

Nb.. Seeing as my journey and yours seem same could i get in touch via dm?
