Bio-metrics in India : No VAC appointment for PR applicants

I have received a 90 days deadline for bio-metrics. Currently bio-metrics appointment is with limited availability in India and PR applicant can't apply for it.
Any idea when will the bio-metric centers will open for PR applicants?
If it doesn't open in next 3 months, will there be an extension?

Hi,
Did anyone try to book an appointment who has secondary applicant in their application as well?
I am not able to book appointment if i select No. of applicants-2 , it is asking me for two application numbers which if i enter , i get ‘Duplicate appliation No. not allowed’ error!
