by the way new rule is effective here upon arrival people have to stay in quarantine at special hotels and spend $2k

Nah more like a thousand bucks but that amount will also be reduced eventually as more hotels are added onto the list. He applied under sds and I’m sure he will get his/her result before his classes.

So what? People have been waiting for a while already and they can’t just keep on deferring. At least he can be there working and saving up for his next semester. According to speculation and current scenario fall intake is also going to be delivered online so there’s no real benefit in deferring...

True that but I’m pretty certain government is not going to waive this rule as we’ve seen Canadian govt can be pretty stern haha Let people decide what they want to do. Anyhow cases have been slowly declining in Canada so that’s a good thing!
