Yes, in client information section, submit explanation letter and other supporting docs to make your case stronger. You know the general things to convince the officer that you have strong ties social/financial which will make you return to your home country and so on

I already received an ITA for Permanent residency.

If you are applying for TRV, then you need to submit docs accordingly I guess. ITA is a step closure to PR but you fall under TR category unless you obtain confirm PR. This is what I think. Research more regarding this with people in similar situation like yours.

-requested for authorization letter on 13/02/2021
-authorization letter approved on 16/02/2021
-application approved and passport requested on 16/02/2021
-passport sent for visa stamping through Canada post xpress service on 16/02/2021
-passport delivered to CPC-Ottawa on 18/02/2021
-counterfoil generated today 24/02/2021
-return tracker activated on 25/02/2021
-passport received on 26/02/2021 (morning around 9am)

Hello everyone,

I got my work permit in Dec 2020 and after that I applied for a TRV on Jan 25 2021. I still haven't gotten any response on the application and its under "Submitted" status and its way past the normal processing times - which is 76 days according to IRCC website.I have an emergency and I have to go to India by the end of April and couldn't really get any information from IRCC on why the process is taking this long or how I can speed up the process.

Anyone have the same problem or any solutions on how to speed up the process?
