i am inland applicant with dependent outside canada , 23 mouths waitting now .......inland applicant with outside dependents Canada are placed on hold ,because of the pandemic and border restriction .

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY INLAND APPLICANT WITH OUSIDE DEPENDENTS ARE ON OLD , AND MANY FOREIGNERS PEOPLE, WITH WORK PERMIT DELIVER FOR ONE YEAR ARE AUTHORIZED TO COME TO CANADA ( TEMPORARY WORKER) .......I AM WORKING HARD IN CANADA SINCE 3 YEARS NOW , THE SITUATION IS VERY UNFAIR FOR PEOPLE ON SAME SITUATION AS MYSELF .

I am also waiting in USA since 23 month ......

Any one know when they will open offices or start working for outlands....... specifically ottawa office?

It’s just a rumor. There is nothing like that. Yesterday in the forum someone got medical request with outland spouse

does it mean that if we bring our dependents in Canada, and inform them that they are here already, the processing will move and finalize.
My children are coming this march, so just inform them and everything will be processed. or after bringing them here another reason why it is still pending...maybe this summer all will be finalize soon since its hot and virus will go if its HOT... I hope so.

To my knowledge, processing permanent application and travel restriction policy should be parallel and subject to processing time guidelines that are not affected by travel restriction policy. I was wondering where there is a official announcement or notification that shows processing of permanent residents application for inland principal applicant with outland dependents is put on hold. But to my disappointment, inland principal applicants with outland dependents as my case have still been waiting for COPR for 4 months since DM. Processing application should be without prejudice to the residency of applicants' dependents .

Here, almost 23 months. Get my webform reply yesterday, nothing change.

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.

i just wanto to know does it affect the processing for the paper if we always call ircc office and sent webform.
as per IRCC the more you follow up the more it will be delay the processing.
what does it mean, no need to follow up, just wait til they notice the paper.
please advise because for us since became 100% in gckey, last month, i sent twice a webform and once a call, and ircc said the more we follow up the more delay will be.
