Tax information in citizenship

Hello all

I came to Canada as permanent resident on 2 feb 2018 and now I am filling form for tax info 2016 no no 2017 no no , 2018 yes yes , 2019 yes yes , 2020 yes no because I didn't get t4 from my employer yet and also do I have to file taxes before.for 2020 and then apply or I can apply without filing taxes of 2020 . And can you guys please suggest me that I am filling right information in the forms . I already paid my fees for citizenship online.

Generally you need three years of tax filing. Since the tax filing season opened today, you can check your CRA account online to see if your T4 is there. Otherwise, employers are required to provide you with one by the end of February.

Thanks buddy for your reply I will file taxes and then apply . As I already paid the fees for citizenship so that shouldn't be a problem right ?

Yeah, it won’t be a problem just keep the receipt and attach it with your application. Good luck!
