I think it’s a positive thing!! Usually it means they have granted your application. Check your Gckey.Guys what doesn't it mean when your status change from in the process to a decision made. On the applicant side?

Congratulations to you, did you order your gcms notes? Did you get to know the reason behind them transferring your file to this office by reading the notes?Hello,
After 3 years of waiting, they sent me an email asking for additional proofs:
Documents for both the sponsor and applicant:
Copy of both sides of Provincial identification (i.e. driver’s license, OHIP card, photo card)
Evidence of Cohabitation that could be used to confirm that you and your sponsor/spouse are CURRENTLY living together in a genuine relationship.
Documents for both the sponsor and applicant showing the same address for example, Joint ownership of residential property; Jointly signed residential leases, government issued mail, insurance policies & proof of insurance payments; other documents (whether accounts are held jointly or not) e.g. cell phone bills, bank or credit statements, invoices from employer issued benefit plans, pay stubs; tax forms year 2019; Vehicle insurance showing both the applicant and sponsor have been declared to the insurance company as residents of the insured’s address etc.
Any other CURRENT documentation to support your relationship and cohabitation with your sponsor/spouse in Canada
We have pretty much everything except we don't own vehicle and we don't have employer issued benefits. I am just not sure what would be any other current documentation to support our relationship, would that be pictures? We are in common law and live together for 5 years now and of course in genuine relationship. So happy they finally sent us something.
I ordered notes 2 times. I think reason for transferring was they don't think we live on the same address. We submitted everything with our application from checklist when we were applying in 2018. I will submit everything what they ask me in the request letter. We are together for such a long time and live together, we don't really talk on the phone that much except when it's needed lol. .I can sent them extra pictures and lately we didn't travel at all due to current situation, we did in 2019. I think they need more current evidence. Hoping for the best, so tired of waiting.Congratulations to you, did you order your gcms notes? The proofs could be anything
Your phone records
Your bills showing both of your names
Your health insurance showing your spouse as a beneficiary
Your testimonies (you can ask your friends, neighbours)
Lease agreement of the place you’re living in
Pictures of you together
Receipt of any visits to a hotel or some place
I will think of more and will let you know.
Did you get this request of giving proofs before your file went to Etobicoke office or not? Because I have already gotten request for submitting proofs in august 2020
And I submitted it and then I got SA and they transferred my file to Etobicoke.
Also include letters from friends and family. Letters from family doctors, gym membership showing same address.I ordered notes 2 times. I think reason for transferring was they don't think we live on the same address. We submitted everything with our application from checklist when we were applying in 2018. My application was transferred to Etobicoke office on February 3rd 2021
On February 19th 2021 my application( on ECA) changed from in process to application received. Is this a good sign, because we received SA before application was transferred and was asked for landing fee and valid passport which I mailed to Etobicoke office

When was your file transfered to Etobicoke?Guys what doesn't it mean when your status change from in the process to a decision made. On the applicant side?
Hi , how can I contact you privitly . .. mep14110@grips.ac.jpYes. My partner was out of status for 6 months when we applied. He started a sponsorship application with his ex wife in 2016 but they withdrew it bc of relationship problems. We think that may be a cause for concern but not sure since it was 3 years before we applied.
We gave so much proof, joint back account, I have him on my work place insurance, phone bills with same address, letter from landlord(we didn’t sign a lease), letters from friends and family vouching for relationship, formal letters addressed to us individually but with the same address like from the bank and the government and so many pictures. We ordered GCMS notes and have been waiting with no luck so right now we don’t know what the problem with our application is.
Our relationship is genuine and we don’t mind providing more documents or even doing an interview. It’s just so hard to have to keep on waiting and you have no clue what’s going on with your file. And when your out of status you feel stuck. He can’t visit family or work. And the thought of waiting another year or two for a decision is very scary and depressing.
Sorry for the rant. What’s about you? How long where you out of status before applying and did you have any red flags?
