OWP Approved First - SP still in progress

I was in the same situation last year. My OWP received her approval first before I received mine. So no. I don’t think you should worry.Wishing you the best!
Can you please share with me the details or the procedure of OWP

I’m not sure how to apply OWP separately ‘cause we applied together. I patterned her documents in the same way as how I did mine; except that instead of an SOP, she’d written a Letter or Intent— stating her purpose of coming to Canada with me. We’ve also attached a copy of the acceptance letter from my Uni as proof that I have been accepted to my program. That way, it should solidify her intentions of being my support system while in Canada.

I’m sorry for the late reply. She received her approval letter as well as her PPR letter last October while I got mine on December.
Hello! Yes. You can do single application for both SP and OWP. That way, it’ll save you more time to thoroughly check your papers. Her papers only consists of letter of intent (why she’s coming with me to Canada), a copy of my letter of acceptance from school, and a detailed work experience as well as certificate of employment from previous jobs. I figured, since she’s applying for an open work permit, she has to prove that apart from being my support system, she wouldn’t also be a liability to Canada since she’s capable of working— which was what the detailed work experience was all about. I didn’t put any source of fund for her since it’s understandable already that whatever funds I’d presented was for the both of us. What I did though was to provide a letter from my partner’s mother that she’d be extending her help with the finances in case we needed to.
