Hey! I am so happy to have found a thread that is so active. Therefore i will ask my question here:
1.) I had submitted my paper based application in Oct 2020. Not received AOR yet. However i got an invitation from EE. My question is would it be a problem if i withdraw my paper based application?
2.) will be counted ineligible if i withdraw?
Looking forward for some replies! Thankyou so much
Anyone?

Can we do medical exam before invitation? - you can, depends on the panel physician. Some panel physicians asks for the ITA to conduct an exam, but majority of them don’t, you need to ask. However, it’s recommended to do the medical exam last as the it only has 1 year validity. Your COPR expiry is tied to your medical expiry date. With expected longer than average processing times happening nowadays, better do it last just before you submit your application. So when you get your COPR, it will have a longer validity. Furthermore, if your medicals expire and you still haven’t got COPR, IRCC may ask you do your medicals again, so another expense for you.
Thanks in advance

No need to upload the pages of expired passports but at the same time no harm in doing so.

Yes you can do upfront medical before ITA.

No, you don’t need to.

if you read the travel history question: “taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.”

I didn’t include trips between Canada (country of residence) and my country of citizenship, even the first trip to establish residence. I did include trips to countries I’ve been a resident before though + business and tourism.

If you have established residence there, for work or study, you need to put the address in that country. If you travelled only for tourism, you don’t need to.

I live as a temporary resident over there as my father was working over there, and I have completed my higher education over there which is I also mention in personal activities.

It’s wise and safe to include all your travel history. Since your residence country is Canada, any travel made outside of Canada needs to be declared. Don’t confuse travel history with activities in last 10 years, this is different.

In the personal history, if you were employed for a particular period and for few days if you travelled outside of Canada then you can just mention that you were employed from so and so period, no need to mention your travel details, but it’s necessary to mention your travel in the travel history.
