Hi everyone.

I'm asking with more details.

We are a family of 4, applied FSW-O / EE

AOR : 28/02/2020
Med completed: 5/02/2020, 07/02/2020 and for the kids 25/02/2020
Eligibility completed : 10/03/2020
then nothing... My app was mentioned as the criminality and background check not started on December 28th...

A good surprise for the new year!
Criminality and background check completed : 05/01/2021

07/01/2021 : all our MEDs (all four) have changed from passed to "not started" for everyone of us.
There are four new lines added on the MEDICAL section, one for everyone of us with the status "not started" but the four first lines are still there with the original validity dates.
07/01/2021 : two notes were added
1- **OFFICER REVIEW** No indicators of concern on this file.
2- **OFFICER REVIEW** Application pending MEDs re-assessment.

07/01/2021 :
We were put on the group name CN COVID PACE

Under the section ORGANIZATION & ENTITY:
Org ID : O26495885191
Name : CN COVID PACE
Other Sub type description : Pending FinDec
Other Reason : CN Pace
Status : Active

As I understand, our file is ok, we were put on this group in order to wait the Final Decision and the final decision is depending on the MEDs (may be we will have to do it again or they will be extended...)

With your experiences, how long will it take for the MEDs re-assessment? (may be @legalfalcon you have an idea?)

Does anyone OUTLAND is waiting in this group or there are only Inland?

Thanks for your answers.

Currently IRCC is facing a backlog for Medicals, so give it some time.

Hi everyone, hi @legalfalcon,

TL;DR - I want to change jobs to a job in the same field, will it affect my application as FSW-Outland after informing the IRCC?

----

Maybe someone can help. I've looked at the following entry regarding changing jobs after AOR and I'm still not sure if it would have an impact on the application? https://www.reddit.com/r/ImmigrationCanada/comments/jh0vt5 .

As far as I know, my application (FSW-Outland) has passed most of the checks, what would happen if I change jobs? I'm almost certain that there is going to be no movement from the IRCC this year on any Outland applications and as such I'm looking to change jobs while still in my current country. The last thing that I want to do is change jobs and have it affect my application, so would you recommend that I "stick it out" or would I be able to change jobs with no affect on my application.

Thanks in advance.

Just called several times using your tips, but didn't get through, saying "bla bla bla...We're not able to transfer your call..." Then disconnected.

AOR: Feb 17, 2020
Medical: passed on July 6, 2020
Biometrics: completed on Oct 19, 2020
No updates since then.
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Have been waiting for longer than a year, don't see where's the end of this.

Got a ghost update today on medical:
  • You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
It was Passed previously. This seems the case for most of us who have been waiting for a very very long time.

Hi Pranzal,

Can you please tell when did you inform IRCC about your spouse and in how much time did they open then upload forms section in your profile.

TIA

I had the same update today. Not sure if they are offering us an extension or a re-med...

Any changes to your job post submission of your application have no impact on your application. The application I locked as on the date your submit your application.

Only for inland applicants who have claimed points for arranged job need to be careful.

For outland, you can change your job, leave your job, be unemployed, and it has on impact.

If you claimed points for your current Job, after you leave it, inform IRCC via webform that you no longer work there. No need to submit any document, just inform that you no longer work for the employer.

Hi @legalfalcon

hope you're doing fine.
One more question please: on my GCMS Notes, under the section APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT what does the due date refer to?
Due date isa system generated date to remain the officer of the pending application, and also used for case management. However, in most cases many applications are processed way before it and some keep pending way past it.

Don't give too much relevance to it.

Hi @legalfalcon ,

Based on the above answer, what if the spouse of the PA changed the job, do we need to submit any letter stating change of job to IRCC ? I mean, what if we do not inform IRCC ?

Thank you!
