I gave the lady my credit card information but I haven't been charged yet. I have the feeling I will get charged in the coming days or at the day of my arrival. But yes, it will get paid fully once it's charged.
I also received the booking confirmation a few minutes after the call

I got charged today. Made the reservation yesterday. So expect to be charged tomorrow. They forward the credit card info to the hotel and they are the ones that charge your credit card directly. Thats why I believe it takes a day or so to be charged.

Great ! I am in line ( AGAIN ) from past 1.5 hrs. Seems like 3 hrs wait is permanent. I hope mine doesn't drop this time.

You can't travel at this time unless you have written authorization from IRCC.

This isn't entirely correct. You can travel to Canada if you have your valid COPR (and visa if applicable) AND you are an immediate family member of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident AND planning to actually settle (not do a soft landing).

They asked for Credit card number, name of card holder and card expiry date.
Not charged yet!
I will keep a track of it but I did check on hotel’s website by entering the confirmation # and it is showing the booking.
