Pre Arrival Letter : July 7 th 2020
Re Medical Request: Feb 8 th 2021
Medicals done : Feb 12 th
Medicals Passed: Feb 18 th
PPR Email : 20 Feb 2021
Sent my son's passport to Ottawa as he is in already in Canada on TRV. Probably one more month of excruciating wait and follow-ups.

Hi I am planning to submit my daughter's passport as well tomorrow, had a query regarding the canadapost envelope..what are the size of both the envelopes you used, in the instructions they only mention size of one envelope?
we applied March 2020 for my husbands 10 year olds daughter in Angola. We received medical request on Feb 10th and when we phoned the IRCC approved medical clinic, they said the doctor hasn’t been working there since last June.
we emailed Pretoria visa office and Pretoria visa office said to go to a nearby country to do the medical but not only due to covid is that unsafe but also there are several safetravel advisories in neighbouring countries, few flights and the mom who would take the daughter (10years old) has a breastfeeding infant who would have to go too.
I wrote a letter requesting an alternate option.
Does anyone know if they give exceptions to the medical exam and under what conditions?

Hi,
The guy at the counter was already aware of the size of the envelopes. I believe 32/24 is the main document you send and you can buy the next size which you can fit inside the 32/24 envelope. Most Canada Post centres are already aware of the process and can help you with this.
