Does anyone know whether Inland Federal Skilled Workers applications be processed after the recent CEC draw or not? Life is so unpredictable at the moment and it's better to find alternative solutions. Did anyone find an announcement or reliable source regarding that?

IRCC said they have limited capacity for files other than CEC. I don’t think they care if you are inland FSW or Outland FSW. The only difference is if you are lucky and they approve your file, you can get copr directly. Although it may seem unfair, with 27k new applications, I personally think all other streams will be significantly delayed.

That is correct... I asked about inland applicants because they justified processing CEC with higher priority as they are "more likely" to be in Canada. This is true in most cases, but there is a considerable number of FSW applicants who are inland and a few CEC applicants are outlanders.

I got what you are saying. In that sense, US based applications should also be processed since they are exempt from the travel restriction. However, I simply don’t believe IRCC has the man power to categorize the applications this way.

I think IRCC also already took into account this case, but the fact is like you said, most CEC folks are currently inland, and most FSW folks are currently outland, and they also explicitly said that their capacity is limited due to Covid. So finally they just totally focus on CEC guys, and those small number of inland FSWs can be looked at later together with other outland FSWs, when the travel restrictions are lifted.
