With so many CEC ITAs, it is possible that they won't come up with a new draw anytime soon. Even if one gets a nomination, there will still be a wait for ITA. Also 27000 applications to process. IRCC has created a lot of uncertainty in the process now :p

Well, here's what I think.

If you understand that IRCC has an immigration target of about 400,000 for this year and that they didn't meet the target for 2020, the 27,000 ITAs are in order.

I want to believe they have put in the place the staffing capacity to handle the processing of PR applications based on the target.

AFAIK, 400,000 is all the immigration programs combined. That includes the Refugees they accept and Economic Immigration Program. For Express entry, the targets are still around 110K. Let's be hopeful that IRCC has thought this through and are adequately staffed.

Is there any October 15th NOI here whose OINP Application is not on DIP yet?

Like, are we all waiting for Approval and Nomination?

Still waiting at assessment since January 22nd. submitted on the 23rd of November 2020.

I got it too just now. Here's my timeline

NOI: 15th October 2020
Submitted: 3rd December 2020
Assessment: 28th January 2021
Decision In Progress: 4th February 2021
Nominated: 16th February 2021

I got the mail and the IRCC profile shows nomination but the Ontario govt portal still shows DIP

It should change soon. Mine has changed.

You would also receive a mail from OINP with your Nomination Certificate.
