Dear Friends,

I hope that you all are doing well. Can I apply for a study permit after creating my express entry profile. I mean If I haven't received my Invitation to apply yet and I am still waiting for my name to qualify in the express entry draw ?

Please reply ASAP,
Thanks.

Don't you think express entry profile will show my intention to immigrate if I file my student visa.
How does that matter? EE "is" for permanent residency, which you want to apply for in the future (being in the pool is not applying). Study permit is is for temporarily residing in Canada till the duration of your studies. Both are treated differently

But should I mention No in my student visa application because they normally ask in the form if I have applied under any immigration pathways?

In 2014 I applied under Federal skilled program but My application was returned unprocessed as the cap was reached in my Noc.

Not yet. But I am thinking to create a profile now as presently the lowest crs cutoff score is 75.
Do I need to have my eca report and other paper work ready to create my express entry profile or I need to submit the documents after receiving the ITA?
I will do my ielts.

Are you CEC or FSW. The cutoff was only 75 because they cleared 27,000 CEC applicants. It will not be 75 again. You can only submit when you have your ECA report (unless your education is Canadian) and IELTS scores.

I am in Pakistan and want to apply for express entry. Are you sure the cutoff score is for cec only ?

Yes. CEC only as they accepted all CEC profiles so 27,000. You will never see a FSW or open draw that low.
Yes. I also just rechecked now. In that case study visa is a good option as they are only inviting candidates who are presently in canada and have canadian degree or canadian experience.

Yes, if you are approved. Need to show career progression and your education must expand on your degrees/diplomas. So if you have an university degree then look at masters or PhDs.
