@legalfalcon my husband might apply for PR in the future.
I have two doubts. It will put my mind at ease if you can clarify

1. I have no social media presence. No Facebook,no insta, no linkedin .will it affect our application when am secondary applicant. I'm a house wife and I have about 2 years work experience will we will put in personal history only.

2. I worked in an customer care tele-calling center for a month in-between second year and third year of college . I dint resign or anything. Just absconded from work when college started again . Should I mention this in my application as well?

1. No, you do not have to have social media presence to immigrate. If you do have, then open source searches can be done. See https://bit.ly/3pjZCw2

2. Yes. s. 16 of IRPA states:

• 16 (1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

If you never resigned, that is not a crime. But list your job in your personal history section.

@legalfalcon just one more doubt. Under alias name , should we list any alias name used in old social media accounts like Facebook linkedin or only official documents

If you have used any alias officially, only then you need to enter that in your forms.

Thank you .Many in this forum are saying I need to list my old Facebook and LinkedIn aliases too. I have even seen posts saying they asked CIC ,they say anywhere so I need to mention old FB or Twitter handle names too . I deleted them a long ago. No longer have access or not remembering them properly too

Ok . This is my doubt in clear words.
For example, I am 32 years while applying for PR, I don't have to mention my work , study, travel , address histories from ages 18-22 anywhere in the application . Everything is for last 10 years?
Am I right.

Can you please reply for this too
