1) lmia is usually valid for 6 months (it was extended to 9 months due to covid but i dont think it applies any more).A little background, i have got a job offer from a reputed company( have given many interviews and had a talk with people working there) and yeaterday have recieved an LMIA under gts category. I am applying from India
My question is:-
1. Can I use this gts category LMIA for my PR application to get 50 points?
2. Also what are my options now using this LMIA.?
3. Will my application be processed within 2 weeks?
4. After creating application for work permit when will i be recieve BIL.
Thank you for the reply.1) lmia is usually valid for 6 months (it was extended to 9 months due to covid but i dont think it applies any more).
if the approved lmia is for dual intent category ( WP + PR) then you can claim the points, provided you have enough points for a direct ITA.
Also keep in mind that when you submit your PR application LMIA should still be valid.
