Application rejected, please advise on next steps...

Hello friends,

My application have been rejected for being incomplete. The rejection letter specifies my application does not have "Canadian Education Credential". This is because I did not provide the degree certificate of my Canadian Master's Degree as I have not received it from my institution yet, instead I did provide my transcript and a letter issued by the University stating my degree is complete. Unfortunately, this does not suffice the requirement mentioned in CEC element. I have contacted my University for the certificate but they are yet to get back to me.

In this situation, I believe there are 2 possibilities, if I get my certificate, I re-apply using all the same documents for all other requirements. If I get my certificate in June 2021, I re-apply but some documents will lose their validity so I have to go through multiple processes again.

I believe my IELTS is valid for 2 years, medical assesment for a year, police certificates for 6 months. However I am not sure about my financial and employment records, can anyone answer this for me please?

Also since my application is rejected based on the incompletion, there is a note saying "A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete." I took ample time to make sure everything is perfect, but still is there any possibility to know from IRCC if everything is okay or not? A friend referred me to use the Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) service of the government, which enacts the IRCC to release all the information on me, does anyone know if this will help or hamper my future prospects?

Hi same thing happend with me last September. What I did was I created new EE profile and while I wait for draw, I requested college to send me the degree certificate asap and meanwhile they generated the digital copy of the same documents.

IRCC are not in position to assess courses that one might have achieved (Transcripts) in general terms how would they know if one have earned a degree or it is just a group of courses. Its not their job to evaluate ones educational situation, thats why its the applicant responsibility to provide a reward conferral.

2. An application completeness is reviewed under R10 act. Whereas an employee goes over the applicant checklist and inspects if all documents are there in the right order and manner. So most likely requesting any notes or records is not really good idea, since it is the very initial step in any application

There is no way around to maneuver the queue with incomplete application.

If the senate meeting has been held but the convocation has not been held yet to be receiving the parchment degree, can one request from the uni sooner than convocation? Did you do this?
