Hi i am looking to have an ECAdone from ICES from your post i see that 3rd nov documents delivered by email- my university doesnt provide this they will send it by postto ICES- so sending by email and sending the mail (hard copy both needs to be done or only one step is fine if the hard copy is sent from my university to ICES, Also one more question once i fill my online application and make the payment do i need the application or reference number to my university and ask them to specify on the hard copy they send-- please suggest

Dear Aspirants,
I completed MBA in distance education from Pondicherry University. Anyone with similar course completed assessment from ICES? If so what's the outcome?
University has dispatched transcripts on 4 Feb 2021 through Indian Speed post. By when could the documents reach ICES through Speed post as I am not able to track the status after the parcel reached Chennai?
Can someone suggest my tentative timeline?

Posting my ICES Timeline for anyone's reference since there aren't many ICES applicants to be found nowadays:
Documents received by ICES: 19th Nov 2020
Evaluation in progress : 13th Jan 2021
Evaluation completed and mailed : 29th Jan 2021
Report received in Mumbai: 8th Feb 2021
Degree evaluated : MMS from Mumbai University
Canadian equivalency: 1-Yr Masters Degree.
Took around 2 mths and 10 days from AOR to complete evaluation, which I think was not natural due to the holiday season in between from 18 Dec to 3 Jan. Otherwise ICES is pretty efficient.

Your documents were sent to ICES by e-mail or courier/post?
Canadian equivalency: 1-Yr Masters Degree. Is it equivalent to master while filling the express entry profile? Or you will choose 2 or more degrees?
Documents soft copy is enough, and if your university can not send the soft copy then they can send the hard copy but make sure your ices application number should be mentioned on it.
For sending the documents via email, your application number should be written in the subject of the email and email should be sent from the official university domain, not from any gmail/yahoo/rediff. These instructions are written on the ICES website.

New ECA aspirants from India (not necessarily through ICES) - Think twice before sending your transcripts through India Post. It will be delayed due to customs inspection. Prepare for a delay of ~ 20 days.
Consider using DHL Express instead. Delivered in 5 days.

Since my univ has already sent my transcripts via indian post, its stuck with customs since 10th feb. What is the approx time taken to get it released from the customs??
Even mine got stuck since 11th feb and I optimistically hope customs should be cleared in the next week since Mississauga post office is now operational after a break
Thanks for this info.. my ices account says Documents received on 8th jan - review in progress. Should I consider 8th jan as AOR or any email is expecred from ICES.
