Quick Question: LMIA Exempt Valid Job Offer

Hi,

I have the following:

• Have been working continuously at my current NOC Type: B Job for the past year.
• Paid and Full Time employment.
• No 'end date' on my contract (can work after I become a PR).

I am currently working under my IEC Working Holiday Open Work Permit (I am from the UK).

Can I take advantage of the 'valid job offer' criteria below so that I can add an additional 50 CRS points?

Do you have a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (if needed)?
A valid job offer must be

• full-time
• in a skilled job listed as Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B in the 2011 National Occupational Classification
• supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or exempt from needing one
• for one year from the time you become a permanent resident

• have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for that employer

CEC website states it can be on a IEC WP - under the certain condition - I have an IEC WP under the condition... So confusing.

It's actually quite straight forward. In order to be able to claim the 50 job offer points, your employer must be listed on your work permit. Employers are only listed on closed work permits. Since you hold an open work permit with no employer listed, you only qualify for the 50 points if your employer obtains an approved LMIA.

I have got done my bio-metrics and medical in January 2021.
Can anyone guide what is the next step in the process?
If I get work permit under LMIA exempt category and I work for more than a year in ON, will I be considered as an experienced class category for PR?

You need to meet an additional condition: your employer should give you a reference letter stating that they will hire you for at least one more year after you received your PR.

Dear Friend,

I am in need of your advise. I am working on a LMIA post doctoral researcher and will complete 1 year in May 2023. I have currently applied for extension of my work permit and it is in process. My professor / PI will provide me the job offer letter which states i will continue to work with them for one year after I get my PR. Could you please guide me on the letter format which would be acceptable by IRCC
