Just wondering if anyone is getting any movement out of CPC Ottawa? Application was transferred there December 10 and haven't gotten AOR2 yet.

Mine was transferred Dec 17 and no update since then (no changes on ecas, too). Im kinda worried if my app was lost during transit (CPC-Sydney to CPC-Ottawa)

It would be real messed up if ALL the applications got lost, no one has heard from CPC Ottawa in a long time.

Doubtful lost. More likely - just a guess - that the big push at end of year is over and the staff dedicated to that is partially returning to other urgent tasks.

With the recent draw of Express Entry under CEC, they are now expected to be working on 27000 applications, that will be received within 60 days.

As many have noticed files are now being transferred to Beijing and shanghai and other VO, I'm guessing they are trying to decrease work load from Ottawa and they probably complete all spouse sponsorship applications with in 60 days.

The ones that have already been transferred to Ottawa in January have less chance of getting transferred to another VO right?

How will we know that our application was transferred to another VO? Will the CPC-Ottawa notify us?
