Hello everyone, I have a score of 435 and I have an active express entry profile.

I am open to all provinces on my application and already maxed out my IELTS score, do I have a chance in getting invited to Alberta or provinces other than Ontario since my score is not high? Is there anything else I need to do (like create a profile on AINP)?

Thank you all so much, this group is so helpful.

What is your NOC? You can look at Saskatchewan as they have their own points system (68+). Alberta may be an option depending on NOC but they are only drawing from people living and working in Alberta.

Thank you for the information.

My NOC is 0601. Do I need to apply to SINP then? Or do I want for them to invite me to apply?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering how the Province Nomination works. At the moment, I have created an EE profile and have around 440+ points. My NOC is 1112 - financial analyst. I have read the intro message in the beggining of this thread, but not sure if it is updated. Basically, my province interests are Ontario, BC, Alberta, but open for other provinces as well as long as they are English speaking. I have summarised my understanding, would appreciate if anyone can share their views.

Ontario: I have checked the website and what i noticed is that one of the requirements is to have a job offer already on hand. Is my interpretation correct? So, should I first look for jobs and find one and then only eligible to apply? Not very clear to me.

Alberta: Total mystery, dont understand how they invite people in.

BC: Similar to Ontario, requiring a job offer? Is my reading of this correct?

Saskatchewan: the selection process seems similar to EE, but again not clear to me if a job offer on hand is requirement. Based on my preliminary estimate, I'm getting 70 points. So is this good enough to get invited?

Ontario - You may get an invite through the Human Capital Stream but your score is low. Last draw was 466+ and they select specific NOCs. If not you need a job offer in your field. That is difficult if you don’t have work authorization.
Alberta - only inviting inland or people with LMIAS and specific NOCS
BC - need a job offer
Saskatchewan - assume you have a masters with 70. Again your NOC has to be selected and you need to meet their score for their draws. Last draw was 72 and your NOC was not on the list. The draws are on the website.

Many thanks. Much appreciate it. Yeah, i saw the Ontario drawing, just before this one, my NOC was listed, but the score was 466-467. Will definitely monitor this province. Do I have to register for Ontario separately or having an EE is fine and will get picked up from EE draw?

Saskatchewan - got the idea, i guess its better to register just in case the score falls and NOC becomes in demand.
Any other provinces similar to Saskatchewan that you can advise to look out?

Again, many thanks for your inputs and time.

You just have to select PNP in your Express Entry file. You can look at each Atlantic province but many of their paths require a job offer.

Hi,
I completed my 4 year M.Tech in software engineering as a work integrated learning program from BITS Pilani.
While checking in WES I am able to select the course duration for M.Tech as maximum of 3.
So how can I give my years of masters to WES?

Just a query...

Can I update my EE profile after receiving Provincial Nomination and before getting an ITA?

I think this will lock your profile as ineligible specially if changes were made in NOC or experience or other major data
If so then you need to re submit EE profile and ask for revised PNP.
