Have you finished your 3rd xray?
Well, based on the fellow I talked to who have been requested for 3rd xray, she was finally cleared of her xray and passed the medical. The pulmo physician will compare your 3rd xray from your 1st and 2nd. If there are no changes, you are good to go.
Best of luck on your application.
Hi, Thanks for the headup! I will be doing the 3rd xtray in d third week of Novermber(3months from the second xtray). I am feeling great and positive(thanx for your encouragement). Will keep you updated.

Hey Everyone,

I was asked to submit my Sputum and I completed it on 30th Oct 2020. They told me I will get result on 30th Dec 2020 which will be followed by an X-Ray on 10th Jan 2021. I went for another X-Ray outside and consulted an specialist. He told me that nothing to worry about as I don't have any spot in my X-Ray. Also I don't have any symptoms of TB as well. But he suggested a medicine to remove any scars if I have.

I would like is it advisable to take that medicine in order to remove any scars?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi everyone,

My mom is also required to do a Sputum test as there was a spot noted on her Xray. Thinking of the worst case scenario, I read that if active TB is diagnosed, she would have to come back everyday to SLEC for 6 months just to take pills in the facility. Does anyone know if this can be done remotely especially since this will increase Covid exposure?

Thank you

Would wait until TB is confirmed before worrying about treatment. A spot on the lung can mean anything and nothing.

Hi.

How was you 3rd xray?
I finished mine last Jan. 4, and was told that no significant changes were seen so I was finally cleared! Yehey! Thanks God!
Just awaiting changes in my medical application now. How about you? Did you receive a "medical passed'' in your account?

You dont need to worry about this because at the time of application submission, medicals were active. In case IRCC will required they will ask again.

Goodluck.

No they will not ask again, they will just check if there are any increased scars or not.

Does anyone experience with Xray result of vague abnormality? I have not had any disease related to my lung at all. I tried to figure out with my panel physical what does it mean but he did not answer at all. He just told me that people in Ottawa will look into the report and I will be contacted in 2 weeks after eMedical report card submitted. Any idea on this matter? Too worry right now

My spouse PR application was approved and she got her COPR issued.today we received medical surveillance undertaking for inactive TB ..My spouse had earlier completed sputum test for the application and after that she had passed the medicals..Wanted to check if medical surveillance is something to worry?..Will it affect my wifes PR status once she lands in canada..Is the cost of tests involved under medical surveillance covered by BC MSP?.

Hello, is anyone has experienced same as my husband? my husband or anybody in his family has no past history of TB, even my husband's last year Medical was cleared and passed by IRCC. now again IRCC has requested to go for re medical as previous one passed 12 months. This time in Jan.2021 he went for his Medical and xray technician and assistant has asked my husband to come for is sputum test which was not requested by IRCC but they said there is little spot in his xray so IRCC always ask for the sputum test but my husband did not accept that time and have one more chest xray by his local doctor which xray did not show any spot, report was normal.
week after he received email from the IRCC to contact his panel physician for additional information which he end up to given his 3 days SPUTUM test. After 4 weeks my husband has received call from the Panel Physician to visit him as he told my husband that his SPUTUM test result they have ready for him.On his visit, Panel Physician has explained to my husband about his sputum test was positive and he is referring to visit local government health provider where he can start DOTS treatments. even he has none of the symptoms. He is perfectly healthy.Everyday He is walking 1 hour power walk and everything is normal. His last year Medical was cleared

Yesterday, my Husband has visited Government health provider who is dealing with the TB patients, he has seen referral note which his Panel Physician has given and this Government Health provider asked my husband that why you need to take this TB Medicine? he has no symptoms also he checked his local doctor's xray report and he said its all about making money now days. Yesterday, again we received email from IRCC to visit his Panel Physician which he called to see him but from Max hospital coordinator who is dealing with all IRCC Medical he told my husband that just ignored the IRCC email, he will keep receiving this email form IRCC only they will book an appointment after 2 months?
Now, I really need somebody help what should we do? can we inform this to IRCC? Can my husband see another Panel Physician? This is so frustrating. Please share your experience or suggestions. Thank you

Hello there, Im just new here. I have history of PTB wayback 2014. I've completed the six months medication and then took an X-ray exam after. The result found out a scar and my doctor said it's for lifetime. Last year I took an X-ray again for my employment requirements and it got CLEARED. I'm planning to work abroad this year that's why I tried to take an X-ray exam again just yesterday and it still got cleared result. Is it really possible that the scar would vanish? I planned not to state my history because they are strict about PTB history, but what I worry is what if I am already there and the scar found out, then they will deport me and all my efforts and money would waste just like that. Please help.me decide. Thank you so much.

I know this is from 2018 but could you kindly share what happened? I am on the same boat right now.

Did anyone experience the same thing?
